What is the 2027 Lexus RX towing capacity?
3,500 lb. with the Kick Sensor with Tow Package. Lexus.com lists that rating for every 2027 RX 350, RX 350h and RX 500h trim; it does not list a towing capacity for the RX 450h+.

What the Kick Sensor with Tow Package adds
Lexus.com lists three items in the Kick Sensor with Tow Package: a Power Rear Door with Kick Sensor, the 3,500-lb towing capacity and a tow hitch receiver.
The package is listed for all 14 RX 350, RX 350h and RX 500h trims. On those trims the towing capacity and hitch receiver are shown as part of the package rather than as standard equipment, so check that a vehicle has the package before you plan to tow with it.

What powers the 2027 RX
RX 350
Turbocharged in-line 4, 275 hp and 317 lb-ft, with an eight-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive; the F SPORT Handling is all-wheel drive.
RX 350h
In-line 4 hybrid, 246 net combined hp, with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (ECVT) and all-wheel drive.
RX 500h F SPORT Performance
Turbocharged in-line 4 hybrid, 366 net combined hp and 406 lb-ft, with a six-speed automatic and DIRECT4 all-wheel drive.
RX 450h+
In-line 4 plug-in hybrid, 304 net combined hp, ECVT and all-wheel drive, with a manufacturer-estimated all-electric range of 38 miles. No towing capacity is listed.

Towing capacity is not the only limit
The towing capacity is the most an RX is rated to pull. The trailer, the cargo on it, your passengers and the cargo inside the vehicle all have to stay within its other weight limits too, and the trailer's tongue weight counts against them.
Lexus.com lists curb weights from 4,155 lb. (RX 350 Premium, front-wheel drive) to 4,810 lb. (RX 450h+) and seating for five. The owner's manual for your RX has the full set of limits, including tongue weight, so read it before your first trip with a trailer.

Can the RX 350 tow 3,500 lb. without the tow package?
