Folding seats and third-row access
Lexus says the TX's second row comes in two configurations depending on grade: captain's chairs or a 60:40 split-folding bench. When the second row has captain's chairs, heating and ventilation come standard. Reaching the third row uses a slide-assist walk-in mechanism: a switch on the seat shoulder tilts the seat forward and slides it.
Power-folding third-row seats are available; lexus.com lists them among the TX 350 Premium's highlighted features, and Lexus quotes 57.4 cubic feet with the available power third-row seats folded down. Lexus.com lists a Power Rear Door with Kick Sensor among the highlighted features of the TX 350.
For 2026, Lexus says additional modular cupholders are standard for third-row passengers. On the TX 500h, it says the hybrid battery sits beneath the second row, which yields additional storage capacity.
Towing
Lexus.com lists a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds for the TX, says the TX 350's 2.4-liter turbocharged engine offers 5,000 pounds, and mentions Trailer Sway Control. The owner's manual gives the exact rating and any equipment needed for your vehicle.
